Down in High Point near Home Depot. Looks to be a 67 Bonneville 428 HO. It was in pristine condition except for the missing factory wheels.

It's a shame it didn't have a "For Sale" sign on her.

That's back when they had a trunk with room for three bodies, and your luggage.;)
And almost anything has a price, even if it isn't for sale.

It's a rare car for sure.

The "428" looks fake. The factory would have added that (even though I've never seen one with that) closer to the Model emblem, not on a fender crease.... Plus, it's crooked....

Yeah. The 428 emblem should be located on the front of the fender just behind the headlights and below the crease. However, I can't imagine someone trying to pass off the car as having a 428 when it actually doesn't. It's not that difficult to tell the difference.

People in this day and time will try to pass anything off as everything.... Maybe he's just trying to fool himself...

Yep. I agree now that I think about it. We got those fruitcake posers all over. If someone will go to the lengths that some of those fakes will go, then I guess dressing up an old Bonneville to look like something it isn't would be pretty easy.

Good eye! ;)

Looks like a 1969. It was originally on the grille. Not on the fender

It was parked in front of an office building in the parking lot yesterday. I'm down that way frequently. I'll see if I can get a better look if I see it again. It is kind of kooky the way the 428 emblem is mounted.

But it's cockeyed on that grill too.
