SBR Winchester 3030 lever?

Anyone ever handled a Winchester Lever 3030 that was an SBR?

Just thinking it would be a cool gun to ride on the ATV for hunting season.

I know some early production has 13 and 14'' barrels that were grandfathered in.
But what about something in the 10 to 12" range?

I would be more interested in how heavy of a Boolit it will feed. sbr 30 cal means a heavy bullet in my mind.

What would the mag capacity drop to in .30-30 … maybe 3? Now one in say .44Mag would be maybe 6 rounds and still pack a punch.

i think this would be a better jone for a 12" .44 mag

A 9.6 in button style mag holds 3+1 (30-30) so will work fine with 10 or 12 in bbl. Velocity with factory 170g ammo would still be 1900-2000 fps. Still easily a 150 yds hunter.

I'm really digging that Idea. I could certainly see one being especially handy with a 12" barrel.
