The 1 I do have experience with the feed ramp needed to be polished up to get it to feed HPs

Buddy of mine had one back in college, wouldn't run at all.

I remember some folks commented they liked them, fond memories of an early budget pistol. I’ve been tempted too but so far refrained.

Also, no idea why that’s all italics.

If I'm not mistaken, @BatteryOaksBilly had some at the compound that ran great right out of the box. I've shot a few, and those I did, ran just fine.
Good call, that was a part of the discussion. If I recall they had two and out 1000 rounds without issue, one went home one still around.

Yep, that's the way I remembered it. Now that I think about it, it was one there that I shot. For $139.00, hell, I might grab one myself just to have.

I had two of them. Both were the earlier model with the finger grooves. Both ran great. I put a few hundred rounds thru each with no malfunctions. I hated the finger grooves though.

Sold the first one after upgrading. Bought a second one to travel with as a throw away. Sold it to a gunshop in Washington before crossing the boarder.

With how cheap the psa dagger is I wouldent buy another sccy.

I had one for a bit. The @BatteryOaksBilly experience is what I would lean on if I was thinking about one.
Mine had some weird things going on when I first got it (cosmetic strangeness) but SCCY was honestly incredible with their CS and at the price point I decided not to pursue anything as I intended it as a beat around piece from the start.

Put a few hundred rounds through down range and it was honestly gtg for me. But someone "needed" it more and down the road it went. I doubt I'll end up with another but I respect the company and the product they provide.

The CPX-2 is a 15 oz pistol with a 9lb DAO trigger, so if nothing else the user develops trigger finger control assuming they actually train on it.

You know, now that you mention that trigger I remember that I did break one of mine.

I dry fired the CRAP out of one of them to build up my trigger finger. I did use a snap cap and it wore out. Eventually the tip broke off of the firing pin.

Sccy offered to fix it for free. I told them I would rather not mail it in. They sent me a complete slide rebuild kit for free and told me to call if I had any questions. Very good service.

I brought the first SCCY to Battery Oaks. I gave $175 for it and wanted to try it out. We took it out of the box with no cleaning and immediately started shooting it. No problems, at all.

Many of the people that look down on the guns like SCCY, have never fired them. The main complaint with the SCCY is the trigger. These people have had no experience with a DA revolver.

Shot one once, wish I could get that 20mins of my life back. But the plus side is I got to do a lot of #taprackbang practice while trying to shoot it.

I bought a cpx2 a couple of years back. It came with red dot. Lots of dry fire then, put a mcarbo spring kit in it. It was very accurate and never malfunctioned in at least a thousand rounds. Never liked the grip though so trade it at local gunshop. Great experience with a red dot. Great value.

As someone that has little to no experience with double action revolvers I love the one I still have, and the .380 one I had I regret getting rid of. They fit perfectly in the jogger stroller compartment I us when running. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
