Scope for custom 6mmAI rifle

My dad wants to put a new scope on 6mm ai rifle and has a budget if $700. We shoot it out to 600-700 yards and he wants a 30mm tube with side focus and target turrents. I was wondering about vortex optics and i know leupold is good. Any suggestions for him
