Screwed Again

And once one is Medicare eligible age, they get booted from Tricare. I met a retired US Army doctor at the Y. It happened to him. Then when he needed a knee replacement, Medicare denied him access to the latest method that has the shortest recovery time, by months. The reason? His age. Medicare said he was too old to be worth the slightly higher cost of the newer method. And once Medicare denies a treatment method, it is ILLEGAL for any doctor to accept cash payment for the difference in cost or the full cost.

When you get to 65 (or Medicare age) you get TRICARE for Life PDF file attached. I have been on Tricare Life for a while now and never an issue.

Only politicians are allowed to double dip. Collect a full pension from one federal job that had a mandatory 65 retirement thane got to another fed job that doesn't have that.
My step mother could collect my fathers SS death benefit or disability. Her disability check is bigger.

If I could get to 50% disabled I could get both the disability and the retirement but because I did my job and did not run to sick bay with every ache and pain I don't have documentation of a lot of my issues but others get 10% disability because shaving made them Break out I have lost 60% range of movement in one knee and 40% in the other and get 20% disability (total)
