People on line are saying it's taking 4 months. My son is at 11 weeks tomorrow. So this was just a cash flow extravaganza? Take peoples money and use it like a bank loan. Always a catch in these remarkable deals.

Mine said 8-12 weeks when I bought it and it was the better part of 12 weeks IIRC.

Everything's a conspiracy. They were doing fine before they offered a rebate, it's not your money they are giving back.

I got mine after a few months.

I got bought mine end of may, got rebate early august maybe. Need to cash that thing. FYI it's a small envelope and does not say S&W, rebate, or anything to give you a clue.

It took 2 1/2 months for me to get mine.

Sent in the week the promo started, got email from S&W Pres. apology, blah blah.
Got tiny postcard size check in mail about three months later.

I never expect any rebate to be in my mailbox quickly. It's a nice perk if it does, but if the only reason I can afford to buy a something is the rebate I should most likely not be buying it from the start. The only mistake S & W made is not doing what Sig just did on their 2 mags and a bag promotion. When you register the gun with the serial they say right on the site not to even check the rebate status for 30 days. That keeps people who expect it the next day from calling every hour.

While not have a Shield rebate but the company that handles them took over 2 months for me to get back my M&P 2.0 and CTC Laser Pro rebates. Use this link to check yours. The first CTC one was over 3 months, called them for lost check, they cancelled and sent a new one out that we received within a week.

I rarely, if ever buy anything just because of a "rebate," especially if it is the mail-in kind. S&W is banking, as does other companies that offer mail-in rebates, that the consumer does not actually mail in the rebate request due to the inconvenience of completely the form and the delay of getting the actual rebate back. What S&W should do given they are willing to sell their products at a reduced price, is give an "instant" rebate to the consumer at the time of purchase. Then S&W can settle up with the shop and send the what would be the rebated amount in the form of products that the shop can later sell.

Just got mine in the mail this week, for the Shield in 45ACP. Took three months and two weeks. Between the sale at PSA and the rebate, it was the perfect storm :)

Mine was sent in and received on June 25, website shows it was shipped August 14. Not here yet, but then again the mail did not run at our house last Friday or today.

If you go to the Milano rebate website, do not put in the phone number.

I sent mine in electronically 6/28. The website doesn't show any info even being avail for the rebate. I may need to make a call tomorrow...
