I have a pre paid FedEx label to send a pistol back for warranty repair. My question is where to take this to have FedEx ship this back? I assume not one of the "stores" if you will. Where in the Ala. Co. area is a FedEx location that will do this?

Thanks.

Never mind the question, found shipping location in Durham.

You can also schedule a pick up at home IIRC. They will deliver it back to your home, but adult sig required. My last warranty shipment they would not allow me to schedule to pick it up at the terminal, it had to be delivered to my home. Not sure if that is across the board or just CZ.

Last time I had to send a gun back via fedex I just packaged it up and dropped it off. The lady at the desk had a mini aneurysm when I told her it was a gun but all went smoothly.

That's just CZ. They ask the courier to take photos of your house because they're soon going to begin offering vinyl siding and gutters. :D

I have to send back a ruger this week and was wondering if I had to tell them it' a firearm?

I actually saw the FedEx guy pull up at the facility where I work as they do daily. Told him I had an express package that needed to ship. He verified package label, scanned it and it is now in Memphis on its way.

I always just take it to the UPS or Fed Ex depot boxed up and labeled. Hand it to them get a receipt and leave. If they ask me it’s machine parts but they never ask.

The last time I sent a gun back, I walked into the FedEx building and said "This is a firearm, going back to the manufacturer; yes, it is unloaded, and no, there is no ammo in the box."

The lady smiled and said "You've done this before" as she gave me my receipt.
