Shooters World Load Data now online

I have the PDF downloaded and saved, but nice to see they finally got with the times and put a searchable database online!

Select 5.56NATO and Match Rifle and you get 55, 69, 77 and 80 grain projectile load data. Good powder for MSR.

Is Shooter's World a powder brand? There is a limited set of powders, most of which I've never heard of.

Oh, and many of those powders are virtually identical to Accurate brand powders. "Clean Shot" is AA#2, "Auto Pistol" is AA#5, etc. I tested the Auto Pistol in 45acp and it worked very well.

I'm developing loads for the 500 Linebaugh with the shooter's world heavy pistol powder now. Widely different charges than with AA#9. Even shooter's world compares the two, but it is a smaller charge of heavy pistol. Never try to use #9 data as even some of it's starting data is beyond heavy pistol max loads.
Quickload has lovex data.

Yes, ALWAYS start low and work up.

I ran into an instance where the Shooters World load data for their Auto Pistol powder (right on the front label) was way higher than the load data for AA#5. I questioned the ballisitician at Shooters World (forget his name at the moment) and he said the data was pressure tested using Nosler bullets. He mentioned that Hornady bullets have a harder copper jacket and would cause higher pressures, but he had not tested the Hornady bullets in 45. In a couple of weeks, he had tested them, and proved that to be true, the max charge for an XTP bullet was lower than the min charge for the same weight Nosler bullet. So, when I was working up loads using that powder, I not only referred to the Shooters World data, I also went back to the Lovex data as well.

This is the main reason why I like to get load data from multiple sources before working up a new load. Quite often I am not using a bullet for which data was specifically developed, so I am having to interpret and apply the data from other sources. I always err on the side of caution.

Much of the lovex data is even hotter than the shooter's world. Until their handgun data proves out better, this powder is best reserved for experienced loaders who work up from low and go slow.
That said, I am liking their heavy pistol in 357 and the 500L so far. Now that my new chrony is here, I will finish testing and share what I have soon.

I've never used any of their hand gun powder but have great results with a few rifle powders from them.
