Only once have I done this. With the pre-approval of my wife. It was a friend of hers and half my age, so she really had no concerns...... not that it would matter. Hell the only thing ladies are interested in of mine is a foot rub, a glass of wine and a home made dinner.
Foot rubs and wine have probaly gotten more men women companions than cash. Followed by a home cooked meal!

I have a bunch of female friends... the independent professional type who can't find a real man. They guys they have to pick from are slim pickings for being able to shoot, hunt, provide, change a tire, etc....
I took all of them shooting and learned them the basics and some advanced stuff before they bought their pistols and CCW. My wife is cool with it... she knows I am trustworthy and they are my good friends and trusted colleagues. And I sincerely care about them and their safety.

Millie Many years ago I had several folks over shooting pool and having a big time. One of the men was in his 70s the rest 20s and 30s. Talk turned to making whoopee. I can see the old gentleman standing propped up on a que stick as he smiled and said.....Hell, I'd rather have a ham sandwich. We all laughed til we had tears in our eyes. All of those men, to a man, would today reply the same....As you said, It's restful actually. One of the old English Kings was asked in his elder years if he had regrets. He replied...I conquered all of Europe...But for women, the world.

I haven’t been afaid in a long time.
The wife of 18 years doesn't care who I hang out with. She is not threaten by my friendships with women. I have always had lots of female friends. I don't worry about her male friends either. Having a well rounded group of friends only makes sense to me regardless of gender. I have taken lots of women shooting. They know I shoot regularly and often ask if I can help them out. They prefer not to have their significant other "teach" them how to shoot. I have done this type of informal instruction multiple times over the years. They have always been what I would consider "friends" or at least know acquaintances.

Occasionally guests will come over and want to shoot, and several of the ladies Shari works with have come over to practice before a CC class. That’s about the extent of my shooting with women other than my wife.

I’m a Range Safety Officer and have taught a few female friends how to shoot. The only time I shot with a strange woman at a range was at a class. My wife could care less - about shooting and about my interaction with other women.
My shooting instructor always asks every student, “is it alright if I touch you in a non-sexual way”, before touching them the first time. Damn lawyers - it’s a handgun shooting class!
Working with female shooters is no different than male shooters. That said, I never turn my back on any beginning shooter with a loaded weapon.
Martial arts classes are a completely different story. I usually train with some female students and the physical contact always freaks me out a little bit. I keep telling myself that my job is to help them learn how to defeat an attacker my size. Ironically, the female students could care less about the physical contact from male students. They seem to really enjoy opening a can of woop-ass on a guy. It empowers them, as it should.

Well...I don't invite strange women (or female strangers) to go, or do anything, with me in the first place.
So it's not an issue!
I've mentored several women who wanted to learn to shoot and hunt. No problems except when they start cutting up deer and some of the old-timers freak out when they see a woman skinning a deer.
There’s a really great joke here, but....
Ultimately, it depends on what they’re looking to get out of being taught or mentored.
Knowledge is power, especially when for a lot of folks, be they men or women, knowing a little bit about guns calms fears and turns phobias into rational thoughts on the subject.
Most of my instructing is done with a class sized group ranging from 4 upwards of 30 or so. I treat every shooter the same - regardless of their skill level, experience level, or gender.
Some are normal, some can seem a little odd, but as long as they’re there to learn and learn safely, I’m game.
The Wife knows all this stuff. Hell, she’s been to some of the classes I’ve taught and doesn’t take issue with any of it, because it’s just shooting.

My wife does not like it when I take women shooting. It has happened on several occasions and I have always had them meet my wife. There are some benefits to having your wife meet a hot young woman that likes hanging out with you. Angry sex is AWESOME!!!
The only time I've ever had any negative reaction to a female was in a reloading class. I keep my class size to a MAX of 4 students. I had a female that signed up to attend but she was worried that she would be "out of place" as she put it. I explained that reloading was blind to sex and women could do it as well as any man.
Come class day, and I do mean DAY (full 8 hours) the 3 men were more uncomfortable than she was. By the lunch break everyone had settled down and we had a fun and productive afternoon.

My wife has no problem with me taking female friends and coworkers out to the range no matter how young and/or attractive they are. She even volunteers my services as a firearms instructor to her friends and colleagues. My better half either trusts me 100% or knows that her chubby, middle aged little Filipino hubby won't be much of a temptation.

I have always shot shoulders. I usually throw one away but I haven't lost a deer in many a year. Now these ladies do the same. Before I took them hunting neither one had ever held a firearm.
No. My Wife is fine with it because we have trust. If it were a case of a new/inexperienced shooter she would be fine because it would be a opportunity to instruct and she knows I enjoy that. She would also likely be there so...
