Every gun forum needs pictures of guns! Lets see everyone's favorite scatterguns!

I'll start this off with a recent purchase of mine, an early 70's Ithaca Model 37 Deerslayer!

I stuck this in the rifle thread, before there was a shotgun thread...

My wife's trap gun. 12ga 870 Classic Trap.

Here are a few of ours. No real high end guns here, Browning, Remington, and an old SKB. The bottom 4 belong to the wife.

The Browning came like that. My wife calls our house the island of misfit guns.

Big Ithaca fan here, that's nice!

I have several but most are nothing special; these two are the only ones I have pictures of handy. Stevens 5100 16ga double (love this little gun) and Baikal 12ga hammer coach gun.

Oh man, that's one of my dream guns. Never seem to get around to finding one though. That exact one is what I want. My grandfather used to use that as his main deer gun when all we could use was slugs in our neck of the woods.

My dad had a Model 37, although not the Deerslayer. First 12ga shotgun I ever shot. VERY lightweight and put my skinny 8yo butt neatly on the ground.

I have a few. You know how us rednecks love our scatterguns... The prize of that collection is my 4 Winchester Model 37s one of which is the only gun my Grandaddy ever owned. It is a red letter 12 ga Model 37 he bought after he got back from WW2 and my Paw paw and my pop both have killed many a squirrel and rabbit with it.The other 3 37s were gifts to my children from my Dad...

20" 590A1, with NOS wood furniture. Cut 1.75" off the stock & installed the Limbsaver. Great handling & heavy hitting gun. Very accurate with Brenneke slugs & just nasty with Federal's "LE" 00 2 3/4" load.

One of my favorite days up here is shotgun day.
I'll set up the clay thrower out in the back field and we go to town.
All shotguns are welcome. Here you'll see some of mine, a few of Muddy's...along with a few others.

In there is one of my Mossy 410 pumpers. Surprising how well these can do for clays. At least for someone who knows how to shoot it, which isn't me. The kids like it though, and it gives them something to shoot without knocking them back into last week.

How's the clay shooting with that Judge? :)

After shooting about 80 rounds through it, I will, say, that Ithaca kicks like a mule. It will knock the shortening out of a biscuit, as my father would say.

I forget what dad's weighed, but it was very light. There's just nothing there to help absorb recoil.

I think his was called a Featherlight.
