Should the NRA exploit this Ukraine situation?

Should the NRA go on national TV and point out that the citizens of Ukraine are arning themselves, aka the Militia.
Unfortunately, proficiency with firearms isn't easy and they are just fodder for professional soldiers.
Are they letting a tragedy go to waste or taking the high road?

I saw a news article in my feed that said the female Russian spy that was donating to the NRA was speaking out about how it's bad the government is arming civilians because a child might be harmed.

Sounds like what I expected to hear directly from the NRA.

I think it's best for the NRA and the GOA to just keep their mouths shut. It would look like simple pandering and taking advantage of a serious and bloody situation. We as members of one or both of those organizations should spread the word on our own when we have an opportunity.
