Just snatched her up. Hitched 5 years on Halloween. Ex-wife drug her feet signing papers, in the mean time, I had another lapse in judgement. I have since stopped drinking....as much.

My family's German & can trace our ancestry back to the late 16th century. The 2 headed imperial eagle represents the Holy Roman Empire, which ruled "Germany" at that time. The shield is for the Margraviate of Baden, the state our family is from (at the time, now Baden-Wurttemberg, specifically the Black Forest area) & will be bright yellow, with a bright red stripe. The American & German jump wings represent 2 of my most meaningful achievements in the Army- becoming a paratrooper & earning my German wings. A nod to both where I come from & what I have done.

That is some serious work, any idea how many dollars for that work.

I honestly don't know. I've been getting inked since '87, but didn't get really serious till about 4 years ago. If I had to guesstimate, I'd say somewhere around $4K-$5K.

That is very very cool. On my mother’s side I have German blood too. My great great grandmother Elsa left in 1912 right before the titanic sunk and her name is on the wall at Ellis Island.
