I only have experience with the P365. It is a great CCW. I have smallish hands so the thin grip feels good to me and it points naturally.

I'm really mostly replying for interest.

I found this which has a decent comparison.

replying also because I want to follow, I own and carry the 365 everyday. It has been completely reliable going on 4k rounds roughly and it easy to shoot. I do not have experience with the 365xl but would say to check that out also. I did shoot the hellcat, and for ME, I found the 365 to fit my hand better and just overall shoot a little nicer. But they are so close to each other I would say shoot both its really going to come down to personal preference. Plus now Holosun just released a micro red dot so I cannot WAIT to get that on my 365.

I tend to not be an early adopter of new products. I like to wait a year or two so others have discovered all the issues and fixes.

I just picked up aP365 SAS and I really like it so far. The sights were a little off but there is some adjustment potential but not much.

I have had two P365s. The first one I sold, the second one (part of a trade) I gave to a really good friend. The grip, IMO, feels like a broom stick. I am now carrying a Hellcat with a 13 rd mag. Sights are different but work. I added a Powder River trigger kit and pull is now 4.5 lbs. Easy to carry and shoots well.

Springfield has a long way to go before they'll get any money from me after the mess they pulled in Illinois.

There are two sides to that story, and politics doesn't effect gun making.

While it doesn't affect the products they're producing, it does directly affect laws being created contrary to the position I support, thus I will not knowingly fund said position.

Some of us did not know what Springfield Armory did to warrant this. DuckDuckGo search found this.

I recently purchased a 911. Had I known this, I would have purchased something else.

I love my P365. Added a houge slip on grip which for me made the handling better. Can't speak for the Springfield Hellcat.

Be mindful that there are a few reports of broken strikers on the Hellcat. And I do mean just a few. Like 4-5 that I've read about. I carry a P365X, I call it. A P365 slide on the XL grip module. I like it well enough and shoot it very well even though I also feel like the grip is like holding a broom handle. I fondled a Hellcat at the Hickory show a few weeks ago and it does feel pretty good. I like the sights better than the X-rays on the Sig. The trigger on my particular P365 is way better than the Hellcat I fondled. But my P365 is well broken in too. Live fire may feel way different than dry fire anyway. All reviews I've seen comparing the 2 say the Hellcat has noticeably snappier recoil impulse over the P365.

I think for as small a gun as it is the P365 tames recoil pretty well. It is my EDC. I would like to shoot the hellcat if anyone who has one wants to meet up at Sportmans Lodge in Yadkin one Saturday I am game.

Shot my 365 SAS again today.I just got it yesterday. Not bad after I did some adjustment on the sights. There is very little adjusting you can do.

Then pocket carried it when I went grocery shopping. It wasn't any harder to conceal than my Kahr .380

its the 407/507K. Im looking forward to this a lot, same footprint and the RMS-c and sig zero. The 407 will have a 6moa dot only and the 507 is the complex reticle with 2moa dot inside a 30moa circle. I’ll be getting one to put on my 43X for sure.

Love my 365. I’ve had a lot, I mean a lot of different carry guns over the past 10 years and shoot this better than anything else. For its size it’s a accurate shooting gun with an excellent trigger. I feel very confident carrying it. Not the first sig I’ve shot but the first I’ve owned. I’d say I’m a fan of them now for sure

For it’s size IMO the 365MS checks all the boxes. Been carrying mine everyday for 6 months. Great capacity for its size, conceals well without printing with 12-round mag and points and shoots accurately without a hiccup. Makes me smile each time I shoot it...:p

I don't own either and have only shot the 365. It was alright but the grip was small for my hand. I have handled a Hellcat and it fit my hand better. I'm talking grip circumference not height. I wear XL to 2xl gloves depending on brand.

Everything else I can think to say is just opinion.

Galco makes some that you can cut off the stiff wire in the top and have the same holster for skinny money.

google Galco Pro 800 or search Ebay. Like $27 shipped last I bought. I leave the wire stitched into the top.

I agree, the Hogue grip on the P365 makes a big difference. But even then the grip still feels too narrow. The Hellcat grip is more of a rectangle and fills my hand better. However, the P365 seems easier to shoot well than the Hellcat. I have not adjusted well to the Springfield sights, the Sig sights, for me, are easier to use. I have returned to carrying my Shield M.2 9mm.

Can someone confirm if the sight on the SAS cam be seen in the dark?

I had to go check on this.

They are visible in the dark BUT they are hard to locate. If you don't have them lined up pretty close to start with you can't see them at all. I guess some pointing practice is in order.

I have the same sights on a Glock. Dim, but visible.

The problem with them (as mentioned by JR) is that they are invisible unless you are pretty well lined up.

First, there is no “they”, it is a single dot. And the dot is in a tube.

Imagine seeing a BB a half inch inside a straw. Unless you are already looking inside the straw, you won’t find it.

Tell that to over a 1000 IL FFL's who look to have gone out of business in IL. This is a version of the bill that SA and Rock River supported. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/n...g-act-drives-over-50-of-ffls-out-of-business/ it passed in 2019.
It's a fact they (SA and Rock River) supported it and when they got caught they fought it. They are both still suffering for what they did. The truth about guns website and other published all the info. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/s...-illinois-ffl-licensing-scheme-for-carve-out/

Thanks to the members who understand the situation in Illinois and stand with them in solidarity boycotting the companies that made that it possible to pass that bill.
I fought this one on the front line directly confronting Senator Harmon and Rep Willis at a town hall in Wheaton, Il. Senator Harmon brought that bill for close to 15 years and could never get traction because downstate (read not Chicago) senators were concerned about jobs/tax revenue in their districts. Once they carved out the big box stores and those two major FFLs dropped opposition the bill passed the Senate. It stalled in the house, got amended, passed and cleared a concurrence vote in the Senate. Then, to prevent a veto from the useless Governor Rauner they held the bill. Once Governor Pritzker was seated they passed it to him for a signature. This bill should have died in transition to the new general assembly, but corrupt politicians are corrupt politicians. They had a super majority at the time so taking them to court would just result in them passing it again while we depleted resources on lawyers to gain nothing in the end.
Illinois was sold out by Springfield and RRA. Platitudes and late "support" in trying to stop this was too little too late. Illinois was dealt a huge blow.
I used to have a kitchen table FFL that was 5 minutes away and charged $20 for a transfer. He folded along with over 1000 like him. Transfers now run $50+ and you have to drive a bunch, sometimes twice( Illinois law with FOID and waiting periods).
