I found a stash of these for sale and was curious what the value is these days? I am told they are preban but have not actually handled to confirm.

    Any ideas on price?

If they are preban, they will have extra value only in the state of MA. That is the only state that still grandfathers them. Everywhere else, they are either banned or can be made and sold.

What markings do they have on them if any?

Looks like new one go about 21-29.00. So unless you get them cheaper than that by a good bit you aren't making much.

I would take a guess that MA has a no transfer in that law. But I could be very wrong and have no plans of giving a crap about MA law.

No, Massachusetts' state law with regards to hi-cap mags mirrors the old 1994 federal assault weapons ban and grandfathers magazines made before September 14, 1994. I have sold dozens of pre-ban mags to MA buyers in the last year. They pay good money for them because that is all they can have if they want mags over 10 rounds.

CT used to be a market for them, as well, but their post-Sandy Hook magazine ban required they register all "hi-caps" with the police prior to a certain date and, after that, they couldn't get more, nor could they transfer them within the state.

Ok thanks for the info. These are factory mags from Sig. I will have a few in my hand today hopefully. I’ve seen them on gunbroker and other sites for up to $100 if preban.

If they are factory preban 20 rounders, I could see them bringing $100ish on a site like Gunbroker. But, remember, your buyers will be from MA. You won't get that kind of money around here.
