Sig P229 SAO (non-Legion)

So, Ive done the basic Google search and can't find out if Sig made a P229 SAO, that wasn't a Legion. I'm sure they have in the past - but I can't find a reference. Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty sure the did not.
The Legion is their high end line, and the SAO was designed to compete with and appeal to 1911 snobs.
I will say, it is the bee’s knees.

They made a SAO before the legion series. There was definitely an "elite" model, may want to add that to your search.

They made P226 and P220 in SAO, but I didn't find P229 referenced as SAO. Call Sig USA.
