I have a chance at each. The X-FIVE seems ok for IDPA, maybe have to take off the magwell for SSP. Also have to get flush mags for the X-FIVE. Are the sights a go or no go on the V-TAC?

I do t care for the sights on the vtac but I do like the slide cuts.

Can’t use the magwell on the x5 in idpa... The x5 is a three gun pistol. That’s where it will be best utilized.

Actually, I think it will qualify in ESP? ESP seems to allow magwells, SSP not. I believe the magwell width is within the 1.625" measurement.

The V-TAC sights are too busy for me. I like a plain black rear sight.
Get the vtac and get the sights you want.

I had an M&P V-TAC, and don't remember loving or hating the sights. Standard holsters did work because the sights are high. But it seems a shame to get a gun with V-TAC sights and then spend even more to upgrade them.

There is also an X-Carry available.

I was thinking about this upgrade because I shoot my P320 full-size better than any of my other guns. Maybe there's no need to upgrade, and just spend the money on ammo and training. I have the Grayguns trigger upgrade in my gun. It came as a Tacops and has the fiber optic front sight.

Saying no to buying another gun just feels so wrong. LOL
