Just pulled the mag out of mine now, I do NOT have drag marks like that on the flush fit 10 rounder. Pretty sure I don't on the other 5 mags I have either but will double check those tonight.

Just thought I’d pass that around here. I really want a 365 might wait until this summer to buy one though

It would be interesting to know the born on date of the Sigs with the problems. The striker issues seem to be from guns built in the late February to early March time frame, not sure about the dead trigger issue. Mine was born on March 30.

Come on @Zbizzle911, by now you're an expert in helping Sig beta test guns. ;)

If anyone is interested, Phil Strader, one of the in charge folks at Sig Sauer posted a little Q&A on Sig Talk:
http://sigtalk.com/p250-p320-p365-p320-x-5-pistols/317544-p365-q.html

Basically talks about the return rate on the P365 for the striker and trigger return spring issues combined is .25%. He says this is below industry standard for returns for any type of firearm. Mine is at 2850 trouble free rounds and still going strong.

Funny, no matter how many times I pull the trigger the 43 goes bang and the case is ejected and a new round is chambered.

And for a little gun it is accurate.
Sounds like you're describing my P365. :D

I briefly owned and carried a G43 for a while then traded it off to a member here. Even with the pearce +1 extension, I could not ever get a good grip on that gun. Maybe I just hate Glocks but if the Sig P365 has an even thinner, less ergonomic grip then count me out. I'd rather have a full hand of doublestack and dress around it then have a nearly-comparable in weight single stack gun with crappy ergos. Which is exactly how the G43 feels to me.

You should have tried the tango down plus 2.
It has all the grip you’d want and I can bet your hands aren’t as big as mine unless you are kin to @DCGallim.

I didn’t like my G43 when I shot it on multiple range trips. I couldn’t get a grip at all. Added the Hyve Technology +2 and tried a few more times. Finally got where I could decently shoot from 10 yards. Of course let’s be honest guys, adding mag extensions is close to just buying a compact. I shot some Federal HST Plus in the gun and damn near came out of my hand.

I gotta say, the G43 is dang near mystical to me.

I was helping one of my boys learn to better shoot his new full sized 9mm, and pulled my G43 out of my pocket, running Gold Dots which are a little hot, and these are the groups the little pea shooter made at 10 yards, and I hadn't shot it in weeks. Factory trigger. The pasters are my boy's.

I might have to run a G43 and a Shield at the next bug match to see which one would win.

To me, the P365 grip seems slightly fatter side to side but thinner front to back than the G43. Call me paranoid but I felt the trigger on the P365 was just too light for me for a carry gun. It definitely feels lighter than advertised.
My experience with the G43 is much like fieldgrade's. I shot better groups with it on my first trip out than I shot with my old faithful G19. I have no desire to pay a premium for the P365 just to get one early on and be a beta tester. I did the same when the Shield came out. I couldn't justify the premium price. Now you can pick one up for around $300.

Just FWIW, I measured the trigger pull on my stock G43 and the stock P365 I owned for a day. While the wee Sig's trigger "felt" lighter and smoother, it was actually a full pound heavier at 6lbs. I'm not making a case for the gun, because you have to consider everything, and even without all the buzz about potential "issues" with the gun, the dealbreaker for me was the grip was just too small for my mitts. Had I not had any history with a G43 it would have been a harder choice.

I have heard this from others as well. Definitely not a knock on the Sig for having such a smooth trigger that it "feels" lighter than advertised. I have the same issue with the PPQ. Love the ergos but the trigger feels too light for me. Maybe I'm just so used to my Glocks. I like the feel of them and I shoot them well.

I measured the P365 with both my trigger gauges. I found my Lyman gauge was wrong...it was 2 lbs lighter on every trigger I owned...and its brand new. Oh well...even Lyman puts out a dud once and a while. My other trigger gauge...tried and true...measured 6lbs. The Sig indeed does feel lighter.

I will say this...I choose the Shield because it digs in the area of my palm where my thumb is and makes it more stable; therefore I can control it easier. It is vastly more controllable to me that the G43. It's not just splits and shots standing still on the range; its what I like to call drivability. I can drive the Shield from shot to shot, and from target to target with ease. When I'm running from position to position in practice, the Shield is more stable and controllable. That to me is non-existent in the P365. The grip is too small, and the forward cant of the magazine base sucks. The G43 makes up for this if you install a Hyve Technologies baseplate. However my hand likes the Shield.

With that being said...the G43 is more accurate than the Shield. I tested this extensively. That's not to say that the Shield is inaccurate; I can fill the down zero of an IDPA target with 2 magazines at 25 yards no problem. But the G43 is just crazy accurate. The G42 is even more so. That gun may be the most accurate out of the box gun I've ever owned.

I shoot 147gr HST and 150gr Federal HST Micro from my Kahr P9 and CM9 and neither has ever nearly came out of my hand. And neither requires a death grip on the frame to shoot. I don't understand how that could happen without seriously compromised hand strength or simply not paying attention.
