Anyone got their hands on one yet? What did you think?

I was able to shoot one that belonged to a friend of a friend this afternoon. Only shot about 20 rounds through it but I was extremely impressed. I don’t like small guns (huge hands) and I don’t like Sig (or their fanboys) so I honestly was expecting to, and quite frankly, wanted to dislike it, but I didn’t. Small enough for pocket carry, large enough to be able to shoot comfortably, and more than adequate capacity for a daily carry gun. It was a lot of gun for the package! I won’t pay the exorbitant prices that you see them currently selling for on GB, etc., but I will likely own one soon! Will it replace my daily carry Glock 19 or M&P compact 2.0? Perhaps in the right situation.

If you’re interested in a small gun that’s suitable for deep concealed carry, I’d recommend checking out the P365.

Gosh, I can’t believe I just said something good about a Sig!

Haven't shot one yet, there a waiting list at the gun store with 25 names on it, they're trickling in slowly,
actually had a couple of people trade theirs back in due to the problems sig had with them, sig actually suspended shipping on these for a while, slide not going in to battery firing pin drag, and this helped to add to the backlog of buyers but no guns,
But sig is a stand up company I have confidence that they will get the kinks worked out and this will be a popular product for them

The release of the P365 was not one of Sig’s finer moments. Testing must have been on a limited amount of guns. I believe I would let that waiting list be the testing group. Same for the 320. Seems odd they have been a very reliable company and the last two products have issues.

Way more than the last 2 products. It has been a longtime since they put out a flawless gun from day one.

All had teething issues. Wait 12-18 months from the release date before purchasing any new Sig. I cut my teeth shooting Sig but I won’t buy a new one.

There is one on the rental rack at Point Blank Range in Matthews, guy that has shot it a bunch says that the firing pin is starting to drag. It’ll get worked out, I’ll wait.

I might be tempted to replace my 938 for pocket carry when they are working flawlessly. Haven’t shot one yet though.

I handled one at Gander Outdoors in Mooresville when I met Bailey Boat up there. It felt pretty good in my hand for such a small gun. I'm interested but will be sitting on the sidelines to a least the end of the year, if not more, until they sort out all the issues this gun has had. I'm carrying a Shield 9 that has functioned flawlessly since day one. I was hoping PBR in Mooresville would have one to shoot but last week when I was there they had none.

If anyone is looking for one Gander wanted $499.00 for the gun and I think he said $25.00 less if you are a member. Eds Guns also got some in last week and they are asking $519.00.

I'll echo what's been said here a few times. I really want on of these. I've been trying to up my capacity from my current shield, but don't want to dress around a bigger gun (shorts and tshirt 90% of the time). This gun checks all the right boxes, but all the reported issues have kept me away from it so far. I'm hoping within 6-9 months the problems will be worked out, and I'll be switch over to this full time.

Nice gun. We have sold over 45 of them over the last few months. No reported issues. Build date on the last batch we got in was June 2018.

Greensboro Guns & Ammo has them in stock. The 365 is our second best seller this month. Only the Ruger EC9s fly out the door faster. Regards 18DAI

I had one, put a couple hundred through it. And then I sold it. The grip, for me, felt a lot like a broom handle and was just not comfortable. I now have a Shield 2.0 which is much more to my liking. I converted one of the mags using the MagGuts kit and the Shield now has a total 10 round capacity.

A little birdie told me you've had the chance to shoot one. ;) What were your impressions?

I’ve been wanting one for months and have been following the reports of issues. It looks like they’re on their third generation of internals now. July build dates are supposed to have the updated striker and some other stuff. I will most likely have one but it’ll be this fall before I order one. Hopefully I can shoot @Jeppo before then might have to cook some bbq for him to convince him lol.

Sounds like he serious Jeppo. If I was you I'd be laying low for awhile. :D:D
I'm hiding down in my crawlspace with 10 guns and a couple cartons of ammo.

@Jeppo those damn apostrophe’s got me lol. I was trying to show possession [emoji23] I wouldn’t shoot you unless of course it was necessary lol

My 365 has over 3,000 rounds through it and has had absolutely no problems at all. Ive been purposely hard on it and it just keeps on running. My hands are medium largish and the 365 fits me perfectly, making the gun perform very well in my hands. It has been extremely accurate and, for a small gun, fairly easy to shoot well. Ive even shot a couple matches with it against guys shooting full size guns and did pretty well with it.

Personally I think the reports of problems are overblown, not saying there haven't been some things to resolve, but I don't think the gun has any fatal design flaws. A friend of mine ordered one the same time I did from Sportmans Warehouse and neither of us have had any issues. Ive been a hardcore CZ guy for a few years now but between this and my 320 X5, my CZ's have been collecting a lot of dust.

A friend has one. I was curious as to how they accomplished the "game changing" capacity so I compared the magwell to my PPS, which is also a 9mm single stack with approximately the same grip thickness. At the opening the magwells are both quite thin, but after a few mm the PPS angles in, sort of like a built in guide/funnel. The Sig does not, just remains practically paper thin all the way up, so that is how they fit a wider mag in the same thickness grip.

I expect the latest polymers have become strong enough that they are now comfortable with trusting them not to break at that thickness. I would expect other manufactures to eventually follow suit.

have one. I think it's really great for what it is.

I have a tough time justifying my other subcompacts (VP9SK, G26, M&P9c etc) and tend to carry a full size since the difference in capacity vs size doesn't make sense.

weight is the only reason for me to keep my other pocket pistols (Kahr and S&W revolver). 11-13 rounds adds up and I don't like it for pocket carry.

shoots great! no issues for me. probably 500 rounds for me.

There's no argument that Sig had initial problems with the gun. Perhaps they rushed it to market too soon. They were probably justifiably excited to be first to market with a new design that would create demand in a climate with very little. What manufacturer wouldn't want to begin selling a gun that would be in demand, at full price; in a market where little is selling without huge discounts. They may have also considered that competitors could learn of what they were working on and try to "scoop" them.

On the other hand, the internet has given voice to a bunch of people who appear to believe that finding problems with new guns will bring them fame and fortune.
  • Have there been problems? Yeah.
  • Have the problems been exaggerated beyond all reason? I'm convinced of it.
I had absolutely no problems with mine and sold it only because the second one I ordered at the same time showed up (and I can hardly shoot one gun at a time). The fellow I sold it to got a very fair deal and seems to have no regrets on the purchase. That gun with the 12-round magazine is the bomb.

@Zbizzle911, you're welcome to come shoot mine whenever you like. It is still NIB, only because I'm trying to concentrate on one particular gun. It'll get shot one of these days along with numerous others that haven't reached top of the list. You don't need to bring BBQ. If you did, I'd be p-scared to eat it unless I see you eating it first. :D

loving mine I use the 12 rd. mags just a hair smaller than the G43 with +2 extensions I like the night sights , trigger is good great gun for the price . I watched for several months finally caught one at Academy $499

Got one ordered a holster for it carried it around the house and went to show it to a friend and the damn front night site was not glowing. Had to send it back to Sig for replacement of sites. Never shot it . I'm anxious to get it back and head to the range.
If I remember that was one of the original list of complaints. How long have you had it?

I've had mine for 3 months and fired more than 1200 rounds so far. Only failures have been a couple times when the slide did not lock back on the last round in the first few magazines. Other than that the gun has functioned 100%. I carry it everyday.

They are finally getting out there and I'm selling a few holsters for them. But it took a long time to sell my first one, probably due to the recall. The gun biz is finicky. A company comes out with a great idea, then just drags out the launch of the product so long you start to wonder if it's ever coming out. I can tell when the market hits the tipping point where supply catches demand. Holster demand goes up. This one feels like the RIA Baby Rock release. I know I'll sell a lot of holsters for it, but I have no idea how long before it gets going.

And I would love to shoot one. The mold is ridiculously small. Much smaller than I expected.

Let me get this straight. So this is a polymer, striker fired pistol? Does it have MIM parts too?
Yes, from what I've read, it contains Many Indian Made parts. ;)

Jeppo I thought it was an accurate little shooter. No real snap either. But I have no use for one as I have the CS9 to fill the deep concealment 9mm niche.

But evidently, folks are VERY happy with the 365. We cant keep them in stock. Regards 18DAI

I handled one at LGS Saturday, I really liked the way it felt. It is nearly same size as G42, and the trigger was pretty good. I am definitely going to have one for edc once the issues are shaken out. There was a little voice saying "you could get it now" but did not listen since the price was $579.00 + tax.

I have an extra one in the BST section that "you could get now" for $500.00...

And if I remember the listing correctly, it comes with what I consider an indispensable 12 round magazine. ;)

With a 12 round mag that's a great deal. I am tapped out now, and still have to buy new tires for wife's Grand Cherokee before we go to visit family in a few weeks.
