I went out to a few gun stores today looking to see if I could buy a Sig P365xl. At one of the stores, they had a Sig 365X. I was unfamiliar and had to do some research. After contemplating for a bit, I decided to try it. It's what I loved about the 365 and 365xl combined. It was born May 24 2021. Im going to the range Monday to try it out. Was I the only person who didn't know these were available? Whatcha think about it?

I havenā€™t shot anything with an X trigger. But the one P320 I dry fired was sweet.

I hadn't seen them either, but I was at a gun store and they had one in the counter. It is everything I like about the 365 and the XL combined. Just as you said.

So, I bought it. I've actually owned a 365 and currently own a 365XL. So now I've had a chance to own and carry all three of them. The X is the one I'll be carrying. It shoots very straight as well.

Wow. That is great to hear! I hope this finally fits the bill for my daily carry!

What holster did you settle on? I called Vedder holsters and they literally updated their site yesterday to reflect an option for the 365x.

I had both a p365 and a p365xl, so I tried all combinations, including the p365x and p365l (p365 frame, p365xl slide). Now two p365s, one for carry and one for practice.

Personally, I like the curved trigger better, and no beavertail for concealment / not digging into my stomach, even if I am using a 12rd mag anyway. Also, my hands are small, so I'm able to get a full grip on the p365 frame w/ the pink extension 10rd mag, and close enough with the flush fit. The p365l was intriguing though, but I decided to just stick with one form factor for as many carry scenarios as possible, since there are definitely times when I want the shorter slide just for comfort or concealment given whatever I'm wearing. Especially for pocket carry.

I would probably get a Vedder. I have a cheap Amazon holster currently, and while it works, it isn't particularly great. I'll probably end up with a Vedder even though I actually like the plastic clip better. Realize that sounds strange but it is just easier to pop on and off.

Regarding Vedder, I chose all the preferences I wanted and I ordered my first Vedder holster last night. They have a father's day special code to get a discount for the one I got. Recieved an email a few minutes ago that said it is shipping today. Pretty cool!

I went to the range today with a police officer friend to do some target shooting. Wow. Right out of the box I was hitting the bullseye at 5 yards. I went out to 7 yards and was grouping better than longer barreled guns. I took it out to 10 yards and was easily putting them in a small circle. My friend, like me, is a glock guy. We were both super impressed at the X series trigger. I am so happy I bought this gun. Definitely my daily carry from here on out!!!
