What's the over/under on number of recalls?

On a serious note, looks cool and handy...

I could be interested in a 308/6.5...

I would imagine is well into the positive with respect to recalls, as they're one of the largest manufacturers. At any rate, they have brought more innovative designs to market than any other manufacturer recently.

I've been looking for a rifle like this for some time, and while other manufacturers do offer something very similar, they're not in the price point I wanted to spend for a field rifle that may see inclimate weather or hard use. The 6.5CM was a load I absolutely wanted in a precision whitetail rifle, so again, this one offers all the features I've personally been looking for in a rifle.

I'll be able to throw another fine piece of glass on top as well with this price point.

Now I need to decide on what color to buy.

This is my current deer rifle. Purchased with the intent of going to Idaho, after I finish building my house, and going after mule deer. It's incredibly accurate, lighter than average, but chambered in .300WinMag. Definitely not a pleasant rifle to shoot, but it's accurate and I can count on it doing it's job at distance.

So the 6.5 would definitely fill the gap for a low recoil whitetail rifle and stay significantly lighter than my Sig Sauer SSG3000.

I ordered several of these and missed the initial launch of the .308 variants. From what I saw, most rifles were shooting 0.25-0.50MOA and no one flipped their initial purchase for financial gain. The initial offerings were distributed to Cabela's, Sportsman's Warehouse, and a couple other big box outdoor stores (no small FFL's received them).

Looks like the second round is similar in distribution. I ordered a 6.5CM variant from Sportsman's Warehouse; should be here Monday. It'll be a great deer rifle when I mount my 5.5-22x56 Nightforce NXS on it!

Well... I just happened to be at Triangle Shooter's Academy to drop off my MR556 yesterday afternoon to make the rifle "more festive" and glanced over at their display wall. I thought to myself, "no way they have two Cross rifles on their wall," but they did.

This is my first 6.5CM

This thing is a breeze to shoot. Light recoil, despite the low weight. Extremely accurate (given that I was shooting on a communal bench, so it was wiggling like hell from the other users) with Sig Sauer Elite Tipped Hunting load, 130gr. The best 5-shot group I could managed given the location was 0.69MOA, but man this rifle makes shooting accurately almost too easy.

Best part is that the targets won’t ridicule the chassis....lol. Not gonna wrote it off yet though. I’ve been put off by new car models before that I ended up wanting.

Looks a lot like the Q Fix to me, making it hard to ignore their history.

Indeed it does. Q's owner used to work for Sig. Externally they appear to be similar, but lockup design is different, and probably most notable of all is that I didn't have to line my magwell with velcro to get the rifle to feed.

The chassis sure won't win any beauty contests, but it does fill the light weight/compact size roll well.

Duncan’s in N Wilkesboro had one the other day. It was on their website

A friend of mine owns Hunter Rifle Works in Texas. He told me I needed to buy one! He said the one he bought was a “bloody tack driver” (he is a Britt after all). He said it was shooting groups that were very close to custom precision guns. He owns a lot of $10k+ rifles made by Accuracy International, Cheytac and such. So for him to brag about a Sig, is good.

That's what I'm seeing over at Sniper's Hide too. Even the .308's are shooting very good groups. This rifle makes it easy to shoot well.
