Silencerco Maxim 50, 50-state legal suppressed muzzleloader

50 state legal? Humph.

Upon launching the Maxim 50, SilencerCo received several immediate legal challenges from authorities and lawyers in the states of New Jersey, Massachusetts, and California. Since we have no desire to place any consumer in a situation where they may get arrested and charged with a felony because their state defines a firearm differently than the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), we have placed orders from those states on hold and are refunding customers pending legal confirmation. We will update our customers as soon as we have multiple source verification.

What a waste of time and money. Why do they *want* to infringe on rights so badly? There are a lot more useful things they could be doing than worrying about this. Idiots.

This is another good reason to love SilencerCo. They are doing new stuff, challenging constitutionally invalid commie rules and bringing awareness to objects that have been unfairly villainized.
It makes me wonder how effective a black powder suppressor even is... since it's more of an explosion than controlled gas expansion...
Also, looking at the site, it appears it doesn't come with the special powder drop to bypass the "moderator"... kinda Jewish in their part. At least it isn't listed in the "included with every maxim 50" section.
I also like how it's .50, just as another F U to the commie states
