Never heard of this promoter but may check it out if I’m bored.

I've been to the shows in Salisbury and Statesville. Small, but for $5, you could spend an hour and chat it up with fellow shooters. And, I've notice some really good prices at the last 2 I've been to.

We are setting up here right now. Sixshooters is a new promoter. He owns Broken Clays Pawn in Asheboro. He set up at gun shows for years as a dealer and decided to try his hand at running them. He is good to us vendors. His shows are small, but he works to keep a quality mix in them. Percentage wise, his shows have more guns than a lot of the big shows.

I’ll try to post an update on what it looks like before I leave tonight.

Okay. Typical Sixshooter show - a bit over 100 tables. When I left tonight, several vendors had not set up yet, but I counted 4 or 5 FFLs, 2 or 3 private sellers with guns (and one with a bunch of ammo), 2 ammo dealers, 2 holster dealers, one T-shirt/bumper sticker dealer, a guy selling a bunch of military badges and commercial gun-related patches, a couple knife dealers (one of whom has a lot of high end knives - Randall and the like). The patch guy got his tables because a dealer got really sick and had to cancel. The guy who cancelled carries older guns, mags, ammo, etc. He has been a fixture at NC gun shows for over 40 years. I've known him for half that time.

Also, a vet author is set up selling his books. Really nice guy. I plan on buying one of his books tomorrow.

Probably 20 or 30 tables that I don't know to whom they belong. If I can post an update in the morning, I will.

Anywho, looks like it will be a quality show for its size. I'm looking forward to it tomorrow.

Not bad for a small show. Crowded and HOT.

Prices typical for the show scene.

Only thing I saw that was a good deal is someone walked out with 52 boxes of FN 5.7 ammo for $17/box
