Today is a good day to fire up the smoker at the grandparent's house. This thing is at least as old as I am, and has seen a lot of use.

Contents include, but are not limited to:

Lamb chops
Jerky
Brisket
Ribs
Chicken drumettes and wings
Turkey wings and necks
Fats pieces for the dogs

Bacon off the smoker IMO is one of the best little meat treats I’ve ever tasted.

I just fired up my Traeger. I'm down for a jerky competition. I have a fancy dehydrator that was given to me for one Christmas since I used to make so much.

I'm a fan. This has already been smoked once by the processor, but I figured a second round wont hurt

The second round is what makes me happy in pants

I think we need a jerky competition, although I hesitate to name the event.

I'm down, but I'ma warn y'all, my deer jerky will not only make yer tongue beat yer brains out, it'll clear yer sinuses so fast yer ears pop & paralyze yer face for a solid 20 minutes.

Yeah. It was good stuff!

Yesterday was a great day to smoke. Got to stay in practice. Not pictured: smoked, then fried chicken wings. I will definitely recommend trying that method for wings.
