Snacks!!

Nuts, boiled eggs, fruit, Greek yogurt. Generally I snack pretty well. Unless one of my docs brings in a thing of cookies or cake, then it's game over, but that's only usually once a month or so.

I love me some granola! I been killing some Granddaddy Oats coconola hemp blend. I also like to snack on hemp hearts.

Kind bars, almonds, peanuts, jerky, my weakness- salsa and chips.

Sounds like pot brownies

Beef jerky.

I win.
Bacon jerky, checkmate

Try this recipe, after you mix them, let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes or so, then use a ice cream scooper to make golf ball size snacks. Keep them in the fridge til you’re ready to eat.

To be fair, I use the term "beef jerky" like some people use "Coke"...it really means "jerky of any type, bring it on mofo!"

I don't bother calling it "pork jerky", "chicken jerky", etc. If you came over and said, "Hey, you got any beef jerky?" I'd probably look at what I had on hand and say "Well, I've got some alligator stuff, and I just finished a batch of homemade teriyaki from some beef flank."

But yeah...I did say "beef" jerky. So you got me there.

;)

1. carrots. especially the snack size "baby" carrots. yeah, they're just trimmed regular carrots.
2. peanuts and just about any kind of actual nuts: almonds, chestnuts, etc.
3. mandarin oranges, tangerines, and similar stuff like that.

usually, i rotate them. i'll buy the biggest bag of "whatever" and eat them all during that week.
then i'll buy a different one for the next week, and repeat.

Pork rinds(preferably coated in cheeto dust), nuts, chiccaron, cheese sticks/cubes, bacon, avocados, summer sausage, hard boiled eggs, olives...

If you get to Zebulon, McLean's Cafe & Hillbillies (a family owns them both) has great, fresh, served hot from the fryer pork rinds. Hillbillies burgers are fresh Angus that's ground daily, the fries are fresh cut.
The Creeper Burger (Ghost Pepper cheese) w/Sriracha and jalapenos with the fresh fries sprinkled with malted vinegar ROCKS.
Not to oversell, it is a fast food joint.
