Snugpak hammock cocoon

Snugpak is pretty good equipment! I slept in a Snugpak sleeping bag in Afghanistan and it held up great! I've now got 2 of them and a couple jungle blankets.

They definitely don't make the lightest gear, that's for sure, but it's built like a tank.

Well most of my hammock camping normally involves trucks, 4wheeler, tractors or Sherpas, I should be ok

Looks interesting. I'd like to see some actual pics so might have to do some digging. I sleep in a bag in the hammock but that can get a bit aggravating to deal with. Like, near panic attack when I can't get to the zipper. I hate that.

Yeah, wake from a rough dream and it gets real fast lol... Been there...

The cocoons came in yesterday. I just had time to open the box and snap a quick photo. This is not going to be a backpacker item. The knife is for size comparison. Overall length on knife 9.25 inches. It seams well made. Kind of like the inner bag on a sleep system but not as fluffy. I pulled it out of the compression sack ( it is really stuffed in there) and did a quick hang on my indoor hammock which is an ENO double nest. It is longer than the hammock and is nice and wide. I did not get in it but hope to try is outside with a real set on Sunday if weather is good. If not I will just give it a try inside. Will get more photos
