Have any of you guys ever tried to take stock of just how much random stuff you have for your favorite pistol type? I probably dont have as much as some but i have found grips, and springs and screws i did not even remember buying. I am selling all my stuff related to beretta's to make room for something new in my life. Apparently i am a hoarder and did not even know it.

contact me with what all you have please

I try to tell people the firearm itself is a small part of the total costs. Optics and sights w/ mounts ... magazines ... spare parts ... ammo & reloading components ... misc maintenance cleaners & lube ... tooling and such. Then go to the holsters, cases, etc. ... think about what is in your range bag without the cost of firearms. I won’t even start on the NFA stuff ...

DAMN YOU! now I am thinking of how much I have invested ... hope my wife don’t ever find out.

The funny thing i am noticing about my stuff. Nothing to speacial, mainly mags and grips and random stuff. Nothing collectible or really rare, just crap i NEEDED at some point for something. And i have a crap ton of lefty holsters for guns i dont have any more because who wants left handed crap???

Being a holster maker I have accessories for guns I don't have, don't want, and will never own. lol. Just bought 2 speed loaders for a .44 mag. I buy random mags at pawn shops sometimes. Obviously I have a reason for having them, but it's kind of odd anyway. On the bright side it's easier to sell real mags than the little plastic fake ones.

out of curiosity - how much more is it to buy a real mag vs a blue one?

$10-15 bucks depending on mag, and new or used mag. Used mags can be cheaper than the fake ones. G 19 fake mag is about $30, real one's are about $25. So they are an even better deal. Now for the crazy part, fake mags are not molded with a round in the mag. Which is the most useful part of real mags, you can load a few to get the mold more realistic.

@Tim does.

Occasionally I envy the south paw because they tend to get super deals more regularly.
