Pretty wild from here. The front is still NW of 95 with nothing on the radar between here and there yet the sky was lighting up while I was outside a few minutes ago.

About 20-25 mins of pretty serious lightning (and rain/wind) up here in Granville County tonight.

sounds like the storm went NE. My phone kept warning me of Guilford county (to the nw - I’m in Chatham). A few weeks ago, lightning took out our visible dog fence. It was severally intense lightning, though.
