Somebody needs some more training

They need more simulator time if the dept. can't afford ammo for training.

Sadly simulators cost tens of thousands of dollars, plus staff to run it and critque performance....this likewise pulls officers off the street from already understaffed agencies. The few simulators that are available are booked solid as they are shared amongst dozens of agencies.

And in the end it is simply not a priority for Law Enforcement management..

18 rounds of deadly 9 MillyMeteor. We had a local cop killed and the responders fired 47 rounds and hit the killer once....in the ankle.

Understaffed?

My daily feed is littered with thousands of "understaffed" agencies playing lip-sync battle - complete with dance coreography, vehicles, the office, the whole nine.

It's amazing that with all the time these agencies don't have for things, lip-sync battles make the cut for effective use of "limited time and resources."

The problem is the public comes out in wide support of this stupidity and in turn it's supported by Mayors, Council Members etc. ......and while there are "PO-PO" out doing this bullshit, there are officers still out on the road having to shag twice the calls. These B.S. lip sync videos are the result of weak "leadership" ...well I should use the term management that seek popularity over doing the right thing.

The Morrisville NC Police Chief was being inundated by the public on social media seeking the release of her agencies lip sync video.....she replied "once we solve this rash of car break-ins, then maybe we'll have time to take a breather and put together something, until then we have work to do" Now that is the correct answer..

PD's are so understaffed they can have 5 cars on a road trying to catch grandma going 8 miles over the speed limit.
