I recently purchased an aftermarket hand-guard for my 19122 and it requires the take-down block for the 19100 with the basic forend. Does anyone know of a source for this assembly? or the parts to build the assembly?

Just to clarify, the 19122,

the 19100

and the parts needed.

I'm asking because I truly don't know here....

Are you certain it's a different part from what is already installed on your barrel?

If so...

Have you tried contacting Ruger to source the parts?

What handguard did you buy ? I have the original 19100 and i would love to have a longer handguard that i can mount a light too

I went with the catalyst arms hardpoint kit on mine. Mostly for the QD swivel sockets but the mlok slots help too.

"Ruger PC Carbine Add-Ons: The Catalyst Arms Hardpoint Kit — Catalyst Arms" https://www.catalystarms.com/press2...rbine-add-ons-the-catalyst-arms-hardpoint-kit

Impatiently awaiting magpul to release the backpacker stock they announced at last year's shot show.

Tried putting the hand guard together today and found that Ruger hadn't included the locking lever for the take down assembly. Called them up today and despite selling me parts for a 19100 2 weeks ago they firmly refused to sell me the locking lever without a serial number. Back to square one.

Finished up last week. I ended up buying a carbon fiber handguard from Taccom. It's made to replace the factory handguard so no parts to scrounge. I would have preferred something aluminum, but it fits well and it shaved some weight off the gun. I "borrowed" my sister's PC9 serial number and ordered a set of factory sights ($55). I'm using the glock mag adapter and I also added a BCM mod 0 stock, a mod 3 grip and a Lage Manufacturing flash suppressor.

Yeah, they're definitely different.

As you suggested, I contacted Ruger this morning and I explained what I was trying to do. They were surprisingly helpful and sold me the parts I needed. Problem solved for $39 + shipping.
I don't think I've ever found Ruger to be unhelpful. There's a reason other than price that I keep coming back to them. Both my carry guns are Rugers right now for instance.
