I’ve recently purchased an SP-101 for EDC, and I’m pleased with the gun. I’ve done some work to make it a little friendlier to shoot; polished a few internals, radiused and polished the trigger to a mirror shine, and have begun to de-horn a few of the sharper edges (that crane latch can really bite a thumb!). I’d like to replace the stock grips with something larger, perhaps wood. I’ve looked online at lots of options and would love to hear your suggestions. I’m a little leery about finger grooves as they don’t always fit my hands, and I don’t have them on my bigger guns. I’m currently using a belly band and I’d like to carry OTW, so any suggestions there would be appreciated. I’ve never carried a revolver in the past, so this is a new experience for me. If you have experience carrying this gun I’d love to hear what you have to say. Thanks in advance.

I carry a 3” SP101 for a woods/fishing gun. It rides in a Simply Rugged pancake that has been perfect, but I got that before I discovered @chiefjason holsters

I have bigger hands and find the Badger grips fit me quite nicely.

Mine would look a lot like this. Message me if you have questions.

Yep. Chief's Holster, and Pachmayr Diamond Pros for grips. A .357 with wooden grips is a lesson in punishment. If it's a .38 then do what you want.
Full house .357 loads need some major dampening in a compact revolver.

Top is my 3" SP101 .357 with Diamond Pros and the 2.25 inch gun has Hogue laminate grips. I know which one i like to shoot better
