I just got it this morning and I’ve been shooting all day. Lol it’s my first so I’m like a kid in a candy shop. What’s the best way to clean the baffles? Since they are SS I was thinking of putting them in my wet tumbler with SS media?

Took 11 months on the dot. I did notice a weird anomaly though. I was wearing the same T-shirt a year ago when I bought it. Maybe I should wear this shirt everyday.

Don’t. :p

I have three of them. Every once in awhile I take them apart, knock off whatever comes loose, and put them back together. I’ve yet to clean any of them.

Dirty cans are quiet cans. Clean, shiny surfaces increase the sound...while a little buildup acts like soundproofing on the walls of a music studio.

Sometime down the road, you can toss them in the wet tumbler with a load of brass if you want. Or if you have the small HF tumbler put them in there by themselves. SS pins are fine. I have some of those and then some other mixed SS media just to get a few different shapes involved.

Spectre 2 is a solid rimfire can, congrats. I have two myself. I like to throw mine in an ultrasonic with 50/50 water/purple power and then use a pick to get the lead build up off the blast baffle.

I coat mine in some leftover froglube paste. I shoot it and once a year take it apart and wipe off what will come off and put more fl on it put it back together and keep going. If I deep clean I use an ultrasonic cleanser with 50/50 hot water and purple power

They’re definitely capable of being useful on a variety of hosts. :D
