So, I placed an order for some Wolf 9mm last August, 2020 when things were going crazy with Ammo. Monday night, I was sitting at a bar in Charleston SC and got an alert from my credit card that a charge had been made from Sportsman's. I honestly forgot about this purchase made over a year ago but logged into Sportsman's anyway. My last order was from 2020 and showed no update. I just figured the order had been cancelled back then. I then sent the credit card a fraud alert since nothing had been purchased recently. I went through the process of cancelling the card and getting a new one reissued.

Hotel calls my room at 5am the next morning. Guess what card is on file with them? I gave them another card to use and all was good. My wife calls me a couple times while I'm in a meeting around 10am. Finally texts me saying we just got a call from the power company and our payment did not go through. I called her after the meeting and explained and got her to update payment info. Now I'm going through everything that was tied to the card and updating to a different one.

This morning, I got tracking info on my order from Sportman's Guide on 2 cases of Wolf 9mm. How in the world do you keep something on backorder for over a year with no updates and then decide to complete the order? I'm happy since it is cheap 9mm but it has turned into such a hassle getting everything changed and updated.

Good to know. I have had a couple cases of Wolf 9mm on order with them since last Oct. so maybe I’ll get it soon too.

That sounds like something I'd do! :)

Hope the hotel lets you leave...

I've been a customer on and off for roughly 30 years. Still have a pair of duck boots that are almost that old. Granted they didn't don't get hard much use. Used them to clear snow off cars on the lot with the nerf squeegees, and now if I have to go in the muddy part of the yard. A pair of heavy gloves bought at the same time just gave out at the seams between the fingers a couple years ago.

Back in the day you could buy antique Russian rifles.

Bought myself a 9mm PCC (JR Carbine) last Christmas from them. Had it within a week. I almost bought a RIA 9mm 1911 last week. Stopped myself because I decided to get a .45 when I do make the plunge in to the 1911 world.

I’ve done a lot of business with sportsman’s guide in the past and they’ve always been gtg.
