My gunsmith over in Mocksville was able to snag one of these babies in exactly the configuration I wanted. I bought the rifle as a lightweight hunting rifle that will also see some range time on and off.

Springfield waypoint 2020
6.5 creedmoor
Carbon fiber barrel
Adjustable AG composites stock
Athlon ares ETR

My first range outing with the rifle was a short break in using 40 factory S&B 140 grain ball ammo.
The action is the smoothest factory (aka non custom) action I’ve ever handled. It’s not quite as nice as my Curtis custom axiom but to the less experienced I’d imagine you couldn’t tell a difference.
The triggertech trigger is factory set at 3.5 pounds and feels amazingly crisp and clean.

I’m planning on working up a load using the following:
147 gr hornady eldm
Nosler brass
RL16

What break in procedure did you follow?

Use the 140 eldm over 41.5 of H4350 and a match primer in Hornady brass. It'll shoot lights out.
