Storage Food Review: Canned Spaghetti Taste-Off - Round 2!

Canned spaghetti is another one of the popular foods to store when just getting started in prepping. We will be taste tasting every brand I can find to determine the best tasting brand just as we did for the canned chili and beef stew taste-offs.

Round 2:
Chef Boyardee 14.5 oz (BiLo) …………….. 1.29
Great Value 15 oz (Walmart) ……………… 0.60

And the winner is……………. Chef Boyardee

Food Lion have great canned spaghetti and ravioli.

i found a few cans of vintage stuff if you want to test them, best by dates ranging from 2012- 2017. I figure in am emergency I could at least use it as bait...

Unless they've been stored in the trunk of your car, they are almost certainly perfectly fine. Those dates are totally arbitrary and have no relation to the food's actual shelf life. Storage conditions are what matter. I've eaten 20 year old canned goods that were stored in the house and they were fine. Keep them for future need or eat them now and replace them.
