Watched the first 2 episodes last night. Just as good as the first two seasons so far. And just like the first two seasons each episode ends at a cliffhanger action moment that really makes you want to keep watching another episode.
Just finished it. Forced myself to only watch two episodes a night starting with the season premiere on July 4, so I wouldn't OD on nostalgia. It was tough but worth it. Wow. Unclenching my teeth now. Season 3 was as good if not better than I had hoped for. The Duffer brothers are incredibly talented.
In the minority here again. Thought it was lame. Too Disney After School Social for me. One episode the guy with the hair is holding an unlocked door closed against 4 Russian soldiers with just his weight, hair and Chuck Taylor Allstars...yeah right.
We're doing the same, I think we're on episode 6. My kids love the show, if it can get my five year old to sit still for 2 hours you know it's good.
More dead bodies get pulled up this season than the previous 2 combined. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
Best part was when Winona punch the mayor and then kicked him in the nuts ... a dream we all have wish to do to many politicians ...
Then there's the recurring pulling of wires out of junction boxes and contactors with bare hands. Sparks galore not to mention electrical burns and electrocution.
I’m kinda over it, good nostalgia factor but the story is too contrived, it didn’t draw me in like the first two seasons.
Season4 just announced: https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2019...a-4th-season-of-stranger-things-from-netflix/
We've been watching since the start. No binging - once a week at most, so only halfway through 3. I thought the Duffers were closer to my age, given how good a job they did at all the 80's stuff. S3 is seeming a bit more contrived than the last two, but still enjoyable. Has anyone heard the theory that in the end, it's going to turn out to just be one long D&D campaign?
