Any difference between the two? Streamlight seems to be the best price, and I see good reviews for both. PA has the 12ct box for the Streamlight at $14.99 ATM.

I bought a bunch from Ebay a couple of years ago. I'm down to about 12 left. I got these for about $1 each shipped. Mine were a mixture of Duracell, Energizer, and Panasonic. I can't tell the difference in any of them.

I doubt either company actually manufactures them, more than likely just stamps their name on it; so the real question would be, who makes them for them?

Streamlight CR123s tend to be 1400mAh whereas Surefire's are generally 1550mAh (and command a premium). $14.99 is a pretty good deal on 12ct Streamlight tho'. Batteryjunction.com generally has good prices, but you have to buy in bulk to save on shipping costs. The Titanium Innovation 1400mAh CR123s tend to be a good budget brand and get good reviews from the flashlight junkies at candlepowerforum.com. The Titanium Innovations rate better than other bargain brands like Tenergy.

They're both good to go just don't buy them on Amazon.

Why? Old?

Converting my SF lights to LEDs saved a ton on batteries. I can’t find a kit for the 950 anymore but for my 6P I think they’re still made

I have wireless security cameras that use this size. I have used Surefire and Streamlight and can't tell much difference. I also have used the Amazon alternative and it seems to last just as long and it is a bit cheaper.

I've used both in the past but the white ones seem to last the longest. Don't recall the brand, but I buy them from the Asian couple at the gun show who sell the Fenix lights and UTG AR acessories. They are usually a buck or less per. I've also bought 3 Fenix lights from them as well. Nice folks.

I use amazon branded batteries in all my stuff - never any issues - And they are cheap!!!

Fake and old batteries are rampant on Amazon. Reviews are horrible all over the place and I had a bad buy myself. I'll pay the extra money at a local shop to avoid buying junk.

Or just check which seller it is, there are a lot of good and bad sellers on there.

Ive only used Surefire batteries in the past, but maybe I should look into the Amazon Basics

I use a lot of them as well. The CR123 version are the most recent I tried.

All have worked just fine.

Didn't read whole post but at 14 you really can't go wrong unless you just had a fluke box. I have bought hundreds over the years and I quit buying sure fire I was screwed si many time with them and they didn't Sean to hold up as long.
Sure fire did replace a bad batch I got from them so kudos to them.
