Scandinavian countries are not yet full on socialist. They do have high taxes and such, but they haven't tipped into full on collectivism, which is invariably marked by inflation and price controls.

And you're right - while the left LOVES to point to Scandinavia as a model, they totally omit the fact that the Scandinavian countries are not just mono-racial, they are mono-ethnic. That leads to a high trust society. And high trust societies can lean farther toward socialism before the descent into collectivist hell reaches a point of no return.

The other thing Scandinavian countries had going for them before leaning so far left is that they have a very strong work ethic - one could argue that is essentially bred into the gene pool via the environment. Prior to modern industry and comforts, in a harsh environment that far from the equator, you better work hard so that you can survive the winter. Those who didn't were eliminated from the gene pool.

But in a relatively short period, we are seeing that welfare is starting to destroy their vaunted work ethic, with surveys showing a significant increase in the % of people who would accept welfare even if they could work.

So even without their suicidal immigration policies, the collectivist mind virus will eventually destroy them. The addition of people who have no interest in their values and culture and lots of interest in their handouts will just hasten the collapse.

Man it sounds like you are describing Merica. Don't get me wrong, I am with yah on that, but it really does sound us more and more.
