maybe one of you have actually experience or know someone that does. When you “snort” cocaine does it go into your lungs or do you swallow it. I’m guessing swallow, lol.
Watching Lotd of Wsr if your wondering why I had that question:) I have a SIL that could answer but she’s not on speaking terms with anyone when it comes to her drug issues

It mostly goes into to your sinuses. You’d think it hurts like a bitch but it also numbs everything. Yes, I was a dumbass in the 80’s.
 
Last question, what’s that movie that came out a couple years about the gun runners with Jonah Hill. I believe it was based on a true story. I’ve always like “Lord of War” and I’m wondering if it’s as good.
 
@thrillhill that’s awesome man. At work we all have to use walkie talkies and everyone including the controle room calls me freebase. Its funny that only a handful of them know what it means and even the managers say it.

Edited -Then again maybe not. Just googled it and I’m not really sure how to go about basing. I always thought it was smoking it. And the few folks I know that smoke it are smoking crack.

Free basing as I've been explained is smoking crack. The difference in snorting cocaine and freebasing is drastic. The reason being is think of your body having a bowl of dopamine in your brain. Over the years you have been alive your body has filled up that bowl ( sort of one drop a day) and when you have an adrenaline spike it's caused by that bowl tipping over and spilling a little into your system. Side note:That's the reason you have adrenaline junkies. So smoking crack free basing takes that bowl and dumps all of it into your system giving the highest high possible. Then afterwards it flips back over and you get a single drop each day in that bowl. Then they do it over and over and over but there is only that one little drop in the bowl. That my friends is called chasing your first high.

This is the best way I have had it explained to me.
 
Freebase cocaine has been treated to remove the salts leaving a powder that is almost 100% pure. It has a lower melting point in this state, so it can be heated in a pipe and the vapors inhaled.

“Both freebase cocaine and crack cocaine include the process of heating the drug, but with freebase cocaine it’s the vapors you’re inhaling, rather than directly smoking it as you do with crack cocaine.

Freebase cocaine is almost entirely pure because of the process used to create it. It reaches the brain quickly, and it is stronger against the heat it’s introduced to when it’s being smoked”.
 
Never ran across the kind of people that were into freebasing, thank God. Things were sketchy enough when I was a kid- didn't need that shit added to the mix.

Old man had a friend who'd been a mule, back when & got out of the business after seeing an associate killed over a screw up (case of mistaken identity, to boot). Go to his place with the old man (I was ~15 y/o at the time) & he'd ask if we wanted to do a line. Duh. He'd point at his mirrored coffee table, with a brick of pure Bolivian marching powder on it, along with a razor blade & rolled up Hamilton & say help yerselves.

Blow is God's way of telling you that you have too much money & I'm glad I don't know the kind of people anymore who can get their hands on it.
 
That stuff puts some serious hooks into your brain. Pot and alcohol are little league in comparison. I feel lucky I escaped it all.

I can still remember waking up the next morning after that first high and the only thought in my head was *MORE*

I'm the kind of dumbass who just has to learn stuff the hard way, but that pretty much scared me straight. I also watched a good friend of mine fall to pieces over coke and booze.

Never again.
