I'm not sure this is worthy of its own thread, but I wanted to mention that Remington subsonic ammo (1050fps) will cycle my 15-22 SBR.

Specs include 4.5" barrel, TBAC takedown 22 suppressor, and CMC 3.5# single stage trigger.

I've shot only CCI SV through it until yesterday. I have some CCI subs, but my OCD wouldn't allow me to cut the taped package when I had a vagabond 50rd box of Remington sitting next to it.

No report on accuracy or grouping, just cycling.

Carry on.

I don't know if I've ever shot anything advertised as subsonic through mine, including CCI SV. The 4.5" barrel keeps almost all bulk pack subsonic.

Before I got booted from S&W Forums, there was a guy there that made a 4.5" 15-22 SBR like mine and complained it wouldn't cycle subs. He ended up trading his barrel and going with something around 10" IIRC.

I mean, when bulk pack sounds like this, why waste the good stuff:

My Rimfire suppressor is an Innovative Arms Apex. Innovative converts 15-22s to integral suppression with a ported barrel which makes HV ammo subsonic.

The literature that came with my can stated that Remington subsonic ammo should not be used. I called them to ask why, since I had put back a 100 round box. They told me that the Remington subs would not hurt anything but Innovative had found that ammo to be inconsistent (hence innacurate) and dirty.

I use CCI Standard Velocity for suppressor use.

The reason I used the 50rd box of Remington was because A) it was there and 2) it was the only box of the stuff I had.

I have been buying and trading just so I could get CCI SV as my standard .22 ammo. I have other ammo, like the CCI subs and some federal match grade, but the SV is what I intend to stay with.

And this thread was meant more to mention that it did cycle vs not.

I had Innovative Arms convert a 10/22 takedown barrel to integral suppressed for me. The paperwork that came with it said to use HV ammo only, not SV or Sub's.
Maybe it is the clean/dirty ammo thing. I need to do an ammo comparison someday. I like CCI SV for all my other 22 cans.
