Came across these video's when learning a bit more about the swiss cleaning kits, thought I'd share it.

Gist of it is, the Swiss clean without any solvents or oils. Just grease. They dip a brass brush in grease, scrub the bore. Use a nylon brush or jag wrapped in a long patch to wipe out the grease, and then do several more passes with these long patches. Then apply an even coat of grease to several areas, and put it in storage(they remove the grease from the barrel before firing, otherwise you can get overpressure problems).

They also use brass brushes to get hard carbon fouling off the gas piston. The similarity to the ak platform should be pretty obvious to ak fans especially in the second video, and it might give them some ideas.

I read somewhere that molten fondue is great for removing leading. :p

His choice of music sucks.
