I bought this table from @WhiteStarNC and refinished it for my daughter to put in her new home.

This was my first go at something like this, so mistakes were made that cost me time and money, but with the lessons that I've learned, I feel like I would prefer to find something that someone no longer wants and work on it to fit my needs.

I am currently working on two of the chairs and regret not putting them on the burn pile and just buying new. Lol.

As the table sits now. My daughter loves it! A better pic is definitely needed. The legs were painted black. Now they are stained.

Good job! I enjoy refinishing furniture once I get started. Getting motivated is my downfall.

I detest sanding chairs.

It looks good...glad your daughter likes it.

Nice job. I hope that centerpiece doesn't leave a stain. You really should have used a doily.

Thanks for the tip, but it was totally temporary. It has since been replaced with a table runner and a centrepiece that she put together.

I need another pic when I get the chance.

Since I'm off work this week, I decided she didn't like the solid white room seen behind the table in the first pic. Reasonable reaction? Paint it the color I think it should be while she's at work. Lol.

Luckily, she loved that, too.

ETA: The sofa in this pic is in BST. :)
