Taurus tracker 627?

I have a model 817 which is the .38 snub nose 7 shot version of a Tracker. I have to say that it has been a good revolver. The trigger is decent and I've never had any issues with it. I know you hear a lot of horror stories online, but if you give the gun a good inspection and it is okay you most likely won't have any issues. The 7 shot Tracker interests me because it's the lightest 7 shot .357 I am aware of and at 28.8 ounces sure is lighter than a Smith 686 at 42 ounces.

I've owned probably 4 or 5 Taurus Revolvers. From a 94 22 to 45 Colt and ACP revolvers. I've had two bad ones, 2 or 3 good ones and one I sold/traded unfired. If the price was right, I'd take a chance on another. I'm particularly fond of the old 5 shot 45ACP & Colt snubbies.

Finally picked up the 627 yesterday. Ran a box of 38 +p through it, shoots very good but doesn't fit my hand as well as I'd like. I have new grips cing to hopefully help. If not, I may not keep it. Which is a bummer but I don't want to hang onto a gun I'm not comfortable shooting
