So recently I've added red dots to some P80 pistols, but dry fire practice has shown I need a lot more and more live fire time.

Rather than shoot up a bunch of 9mm, I decided to get a similar feeling 22lr handgun, so I grabbed a Taurus TX22 and added a Sig Romeo Zero I had via an adapter plate.

I should get a chance to zero and shoot this some time this week, but everything I've seen has said I'm in for a good time!

Well, even though the red dot seemed like it wasn't dialing in at all I was able to hit a golf ball at 3, 8 and 15ish yards with two or three rounds. A few jams but as usual I forgot to lube it before use (every time!) and ran my box of old ass mixed 22lr blasting ammo to see how it coped.

I'm happy.

Got a Lakeland recoil spring in my mailbox because the plastic plunger seems to be the weakest part of the whole thing.

I like my TX22, good shooter. No red dot on that one, yet.....

It's a used $60 red dot on a cheap plate, took 5 minutes to install after I got the darn rear sight screw loose.
