In addition to passing a resolution declaring the county a Second Amendment Sanctuary, the county board also passed the Militia Resolution to begin formally organizing a county Militia.

Where many see Virginia as a harbinger of imminent defeat, of people getting what they "deserve" for not coming to bat for Red Tyrants over Blue, I see Virginia stepping up and doing exactly what a Free People do when an electoral redress of grievances is unlikely if not impossible.

Finally people starting to fight back!

Fighting hasn't really started yet. Hopefully steps like this are enough to where that becomes wholly unnecessary, though with the Virginia Attorney General matter of factly stating that any laws passed by the state will be enforced and complied with suggests those in power are stupid enough to not heard the message.

I didn't mean literal fighting, but you know what I meant

Tazewell County VA is one of my favorite areas for trail riding; I go as often as I can, which isn't as often as I'd like. It's a beautiful area in the Blue Ridge mountains. Next time I go, I will thank every man I see. This is from Tazewell County Councilman Tom Lester: "This is because the purpose of the militia is not just to protect the county from domestic danger, but also protect the county from any sort of tyrannical actions from the Federal government."
