The 45 is so slow that..

After I shoot, I run up to the target and hold it in front of the bullet so I don't miss.

I'll brew some coffee while I'm waiting.

My sister will drive from Knoxville, and when she gets here we're almost ready for a second shot.

I did some 45 shooting last week. I suppose I should go back to the range and see if they hit anything yet.

It doesn't have to be fast, it knows it can take it's time and not be in a hurry. Once it does arrive on target, the game is over and there will be no more playing around, just carnage. Kind of like the 2 bulls sitting on the hillside, waiting on the cows to come by, don't be in a hurry, take your time and destroy everything in it's path.

People make fun of .45acp being slow ... then say hollow points need velocity to expand ... I never heard a .45acp had problems with expansion ... guess the 100+ year old government mule cartridge (along with the .45-70) just has some kinda of voodoo behind it that makes it work for those who believe in it .
