The bad thing about becoming a reloader....

    You become a:

    Brass whore

Empty cartridge box whore (at least I am, free storage and reloading trays)

Nerdy detail guy and find yourself as intrigued about making cartridges as you are shooting them

Look like a peasent out there searching the dirt looking for you caliber of brass guy

Always leave with more brass than you came with guy

And, coming soon, lead from the berm recovery guy (casting is evily calling me from the dark side)

I weighed mine when I moved the last time, since we were paying movers by weight.

    700 lbs of components.

By bringing it all in the car, I was able to move my motorcycle for "free".

How long you been at it? I've got 30+ years. I would hate to have to start over.

Shooting was my hobby. Then I started reloading, and that became my hobby. Then I started wet tumbling, now making dirty brass shine again is my hobby - shooting and reloading are just the means to that end. Oh, and picking up all the brass at the range, too.

Remember our mutual friend that moved to Colorado? He gave me all that brass he had stored from the time he worked at the range, he didn't want to move it.
    I know, I'm a brass whore, lol.

I too am a brass lady of the night. I don't care what caliber or how dirty. I wish I had guns to shoot all the calibers I've picked up.

I literally judge how successful my winter shooting season was by the level of 9mm and 5.56 brass in the 5 gal buckets I use to collect my own brass. This year was a bumper-crop, pre-covid...to the point where I could even trade and share some with friends.
Looking back, I sure wish I had shot more .22LR :eek::oops:
