I usually enjoy all black comedies a lot. They are the epitome of shock humor and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them all from Richard Pryor to Martin Lawrence and everything in between.

But this fell way short as both a horror movie and a comedy. I was pretty sure I knew who the bad guy was 5 min in and I was positive who it was about 30 min in.

There were a few hard chuckle moments but no where near the belly laughs I’ve had with other movies of this ilk.

In the end it had some watered down, after school special morality message that just didn’t make sense really.

So I would skip this one, unless you’re black and feel like being preached to in a weird way.

after school special...there's something that doesn't exist anymore.

lol. You’re right.

Ok for people too young to catch that reference they would pick some dumb topic, make a one hour show that came on about the time you got home from school and then hammer the piss out of it.

I generally refuse to watch "all black" films because I don't enjoy supporting overt racism. The exact same film done in reverse would be banned from every channel in the nation. Plus I find their "humor" more obnoxious than funny.

Usually, they make fun of everyone equally in these films. You’re right that they would ban a film made from the other side doing the exact same thing which really is a shame.

In the case of this film however they didn’t make fun of themselves at all and the message of the movie was black people shouldn’t be questioning the blackness of other black people because they’re all black.

Instead of some really good shock humor like in barbershop calling Harriet Tubman too lazy to move the only funny moments were sedated humor like let’s call the cops and then them all laughing at the suggestion.

I thought it was the title of that porn with the skinny chick on the couch
Ahhh. Piper Perri. The woman who single handedly threw off the curve and added an entire inch to the overall average depth of women in a tristate area.
