I have been watching the 41 magnum Charter Arms as well, I'm just wondering how well its going to hold up to the round over time?I like .41 Mags. Charter Arms came out with the Mag Pug recently in .41 Mag which I'm thinking about to go along with my Smith 58. Have an old 68' vintage 3" Bulldog in .44 SPL.

I reload as well, good point, would probably help a lot with the longevity of the gun. I've got revolvers that have never seen a factory round actually. I've been wanting a bulldog as well, this thread is a bad place for me to visit for temptation.Only factory ammo I'll fire out of it would be the Winchester 175gr STHP. I would receive a steady diet of 210 gr under 8 grs Unique for 900-1000 fps. My .44 Bulldog SD ammo is Win 200 gr STHP or Fed 200 gr LSWCHP. Its normal load is a Lee TL240-SWC under 7.2 grs Unique at around 750-800 fps.
