US Army puts GM's Infantry Squad Vehicle into production

"The ISV is a nine-passenger vehicle with an open-body and retractable rollover protection system that allows it to fit inside the CH-47 Chinook helicopter, be slung from a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter, or air dropped from a cargo plane by parachute.

It's powered by a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine, but GM Defense has built a fully-electric version for evaluation."

Looks like grandson of the M151 series and may be as deadly in service. No one will stay strapped in and when PFC snuffy is driving, keeping it wheels side down may be a challenge. The temptation to Baja 500 with it may be too great.

Made in Concord NC

The 82nd has been using the vehicle for a couple years now. I don't have any personal experience with it but I don't really remember there being any serious injuries with it during my time there, I could be wrong though. It is pretty helpful to move people quickly from point a to point b when conducting any sort of airborne or envelopment operation.

I had a “MUTT” aka M151 and it was a killer if you were not careful.
This new vehicle gives off those same vibes
