It based on a series of books, I read the books a few years ago, so far the TV show is good.

I saw the trailer, and as soon as they used the word "vampire " they lost me. I guess my dissatisfaction with The Strain has not completely dissipated.

Very good show they need to get to the point though it's getting a little slow. Looks like this coming week will be good.
